Lozells Community Meeting

Another successful Community Meeting last night in Lozells which was attended by about 30 local people and Chaired by Nawaz Ali from the Neighbourhood Forum. Sgt Ahmed provided an up-date on policing and crime issues in the area. Crime remains the lowest across this particular policing area. Sgt Ahmed explained that there has been a small increase in recorded crime figures over the last 2 months, but this is largely explained by the greater number of drugs raids which have been carried out – there have been over 40 in Lozells just in the current year.
