Handsworth Arts Walk, Twitter, Milkfloat… can you help?
| July 24, 2009 | to | July 26, 2009 |
What links Come:unity Arts’ Handsworth Arts Walk with Twitter and a milkfloat?
More about that later — first, some information about the planned event from Sharon Morgan:
Come:unity arts is organising an Artwalk event, planned for July 24th – 26th 2009, which is going to be quite brilliant! Holte Summer Fayre cancelled
We have had news from Gordon Higginson at Holte School telling us that with much regret the school have decided not to go ahead with the Summer Fayre for this year.
Most local people will be aware that because of Swine Flu concerns Holte has had to be closed recently. This has impacted on rehearsal time and the quality of performance. So, after much agonising, the school has decided to cancel all additional activities until the autumn.
But the good news is that the planned concert will be replaced with an evening of performance in Sept/Oct, when everyone is well rehearsed. Adn the full summer fayre will be resumed next July.
The attached letter sets out the full details: Holte Summer Fayre cancellation
