Lozells Social Media Surgery: Tuesday 29th September …
Lozells’ third social media surgery will take place on Tuesday 29th September, from 5.30pm until 7.00pm, at the Methodist Church building on the corner of Lozells St and Gerrard St. As ever, the sessions are supported by Raj Rattu, Director of Community Consultancy, and BeVocal.org.uk.
It is a drop-in session, so members of local voluntary organisations and residents’ groups, small business owners and concerned residents who would like to get active on the Birmingham blogging scene can come along for free. The session is very informal, and you need bring nothing but yourself! Tea and coffee facilities are available, and it’s a great chance to meet up for a chat and find out about how ’social media’ can help you get heard.
You don’t need to be a computer whizz to use social media. They are designed to be inclusive and easy to use. If you can send an email, you will be able to use sites like Twitter, Flickr, Wordpress and many more!
