NHS Constitution – addtional patients rights

Author: In January 2009 an NHS constitution was published which includes 25 patients’ rights, all of which are underpinned by law and are legally enforceable.
The Department of Health is currently consluting on some new patients’ rights and is seeking views on them. The Heart of Birmingham PCT (which covers our area in Lozells) is keen to encourage people to get involved in the consultation process – with responses required by 30 January.
