Half Term Programme October 2011

After a fantastic summer programme delivered jooijtly by BYF and LMCC, the two organisations are working together again in October to provide good activities for local children.
Hussain attended the summer programme and writes:-
In the summer holiday I went to the Lozells Church on the corner of Nursery Rd….There were good activities like writing Welcome in different languages, painting, knitting and making Chatter Boxes. I enjoyed myself and I hope it happens next Year so I can have more fun.

I was at Habdsworth Fire Station yesterday and saw the posters.  It looks like a really interesting holiday day out for anyone and its free.

BYF are organising an exciting day of activities around the theme of weddings. There is an art workshop at BYF centre 163 Lozells Rd for all and discussion groups for young men and girls separately to explore the roles and responsibilities involved. From 12.30 till 3.00 at the Lozells Methodist Community Centre, next to BYF there is lunch and a chance to see an exhibition of saris and wedding dresses and to hear about marriage Moslem and Christian style.
