Residents of Lozells and East Handsworth Ward are invited to the launch of the Lozells, Birchfield and Handsworth Community Trust Ltd on Saturday 2nd March 2013 at Lozells Methodist Community Centre, 163 Gerrard Street, Lozells, B19 2AH from 11.00 a.m. to 2.00 p.m.
This is an exciting time to be living in Lozells and East Handsworth ward so why not come along and find out more about the Community Trust. The key note speaker will be Councillor John Cotton, Cabinet Member for Social Cohesion and Equalities and there will lively discussions taking place in four workshops:

It will be held as follows:

Venue: Dining Hall of Infants section, Anglesey Street entrance, Anglesey Primary School, Lozells, Birmingham, B19 1RA. (Tea/coffee and cake provided)
This meeting will be a chance for all of us – residents and those who serve residents – to learn more about the way Birmingham City Council and Midland Heart make an offer of a home to applicants, as well as for us to hear the latest on new house building plans in Lozells.

Hello all, a trip has been arranged by the LNF for local residents to Barry island.
The trip will take place on Sunday 8th July 2012, departing from the corner of Nursery Road and Brougham Street. We will be departing from there at 8am prompt and leaving from Barry island 5pm prompt. The cost of the trip is £7.00 per adult or child. To secure a place please come to the registration with the correct money on Thursday 14th June 2012 at the L.R.G. Center opposite the Sure start cherry tree center, between 9-12. Please note that all places will be offered on a first come first serve basis.

Saturday June 2nd 11am – 1pm Children’s Craft activities getting ready to party. 8 years plus. Under 8s must be accompanied by an adult.
Sunday June 3rd ‘The Big Lunch’ 3.30 – 6.30pm bottom of Lozells Street. Bring food to share.
Thursday June 7th. Half term fun 11am – 2pm. 8 years plus. Under 8s to be accompanied by an adult.
