The Lozells Neighbourhood Forum, formed in 2005 after the then disturbances, is a longstanding grassroots movement by the people who live in Lozells to positively shape their neighbourhood. Officially recognised by the Council and other statutory agencies, the Forum is the elected champion of local residents. Its geographical boundary strectches from Hamstead Rd to Wheelers Street and Lozells Rd to Nursery Rd/Gerrard Street.
Every resident is a default member of the Forum as there are no fees or membership forms to fill in. Once a year the Forum holds elections to form a Management Committee, which is open to every householder. It holds and organises with various partners public meetings for resident to directly air their views and meet key decision makers. For more details of public meetings and other events please check the ‘events page’. It is also the owner of this blog.
