Many thanks to Lozells Central Mosque for welcoming the Lozells Faith Leaders Forum and other visitors last Friday. We enjoyed a very rich time of sharing stories from our holy books and significant events in our lives in the beautiful surroundings of Lozells Central Mosque. Then those of us not used to Asian hospitality were caught out because we were not prepared to be offered food and had eaten. The evening ended with a lovely meal served by the Mosque which gave us time to chat and get to know each other better. A special thank you to Matloob Hussain who arranged everything at the Mosque for this event.

Logo competition Design a logo for your neighbourhood forum, here in Lozells.
The design needs to be simple and easily reproduced.
Some ideas about what the forum is to inspire you:-
• It is about the whole community of Lozells
• It is for residents to express their views
• It is to hold outside agencies to account
• It is to share important information which affects people living and working in Lozells.

The Lozells Project invites all faith groups in Birmingham to join one another on this walk.
The most important thing about this day is that its purpose is to
pray for God’s peace as we walk and visit the various places of worship in Lozells.

10.45am – St Mary’s Convent – 101 Hunters Road. B19 1EB

12.15pm – Sri Dashmesh Sikh Temple – 305 Wheelers Street. B19 1HH
The walk starts with coffee etc and finishes with lunch at the Sikh Temple. The event is free but there will be the opportunity to make a small donation to cover the cost of these.
